Elephant Gorge Camp is a private lodge set in an exclusive conservation area in Amboseli. Here there is an abundance of wildlife, and one of the largest concentration of elephants in Kenya. The story of these roaming giants lives strong within the land and is reflected in Elephant Gorge Camp.
The camp accommodates up to a maximum of only 10 guests at a time offering outstanding personalized service with a variety of adventures and activities on offer to explore this natural wonderland.
Arrive at the rail terminus an hour before departure time, print tickets board the train to start off your safari. On arrival a representative will pick you from the Emali station and transfer you Elephant Gorge Camp., arrival in time for lunch. You will have the early afternoon to relax and settle in. There will be an evening drive perfect to catch some of the more discreet wildlife. Afterwards you can sleep to the natural sounds of nature.
The next day will open you up to the true magnificence of Amboseli National Park which sits pretty on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world. Known best for its large herds of African Elephants, the park is also the second most popular park in Kenya.
After Breakfast, head out for a nature walk and experience the unique flora, fauna and culture of this fascinating ecosystem. Spend the afternoon in the camp and in the evening head out to the park for an evening Game Drive.
After breakfast you check out of the hotel and you will be transferred back to the Train station to come back to Nairobi or proceed to Mombasa. You could also consider taking a few days at Kipalo Hills in Tsavo a sister property to Elephant Gorge Camp
